DAMI to Congress: Call for Asset Management Data from University Endowments Seeking Tax Relief

February 8, 2024 - Today, the Diverse Asset Managers Initiative (DAMI) sent a letter to the Chairs of the Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, and Congressional Progressive Caucus - U.S. Representatives Steven Horsford (D-NV), Nanette Barragán (D-CA), Judy Chu (D-CA), and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) - calling for them and the respective members of their caucuses to require that universities make public their data as to whether they work with women or people of color in the management of their endowments and pension plans.
